Paratene^® D740 Vapour-Phase Degreaser and Degreasing Surfactant

Paratene D740 is a blend of low toxicity surfactants in water intended to aid in the removal of hydrocarbon contaminants from process equipment. It will act as a mild oxidizing agent to assist in the removal of hydrogen sulfide and pyrophoric iron compounds. 

Paratene D740 is soluble in water, acids and caustic solutions. It will improve the wetting of all these solutions and improve the reaction rates of acids on many difficult to wet scales. 

Paratene D740 water wets metal surfaces and loosely emulsifies hydrocarbons improving their removal by hot water or steam from process equipment and tanks.
